Berdasarkan pantauan, H. Muchendi tampak mengenakan jas berwarna biru dipadu dengan kain sarung dan peci hitam. Sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB Bupati Muchendi menyambut masyarakat yang hadir di open house. Selain bersalaman, tampak Muchendi pun melayani warga ingin berfoto, mengabadikan momen penting di hari lebaran.
Sejumlah pejabat dan tamu undangan lainnya tampak berbaur di pendopo Kabupatenan, sebelum mereka berbaris menujupanggungutama.
Budiman salah satu warga Kelurahan Paku mengaku sengaja datang ke Pendopo Kabupatenan untuk bersilaturahmi dengan Bupati Muchendi. Meski barupertama kali menghadiri open house, dia mengaku senang bisa disambut hangat Bupati Muchendi dan Keluarga. “Sengaja datang ke sini ke open house pak Bupati. Senang pertama kali bisa lebaran sama Pak Bupati,” singkatpria asal Kelurahan Jua-Jua Kayuagung itu.
Sejumlah hidangan juga telah disiapkan oleh Ketua TP PKK OKI, Ike Muchendi untuk menyambut warga yang bersilaturahmi. Tak hanya kue lebaran, para pedagang bakso, sate, pempek hingga es kacang juga dihidangkan.
“Sudah habis ratusan porsi. Ini gratis sengaja disiapkan untuk tamu open house,” ujar Ujang pedagang sate Kayuagung.
Suasana Idul Fitri di Kayuagung akan semakin semarak dengan gelaran midang morge siwe pada lebaran ke 3 dan 4 Idul Fitri 1446 H. Tak hanya melestarikan budaya. Even ini juga menghibur para pemudik yang kembali ke tanah kelahiran Kayuagung. (Lisin/Ril)
