Jakarta, Radar Keadilan –Webinar “Mencetak Jurnalis Digital Berintegritas: Menjawab Tantangan dan Peluang Media Online,” yang diselenggarakan SWI Learning Center Jumat (11/7/2025), berhasil menyoroti pentingnya integritas dan profesionalisme jurnalistik di era digital.
Acara daring ini menghadirkan pembicara kunci terkemuka, antara lain Dr. Asep Setiawan, M.A. (anggota Dewan Pers), Ir. Herry Budiman (Plt. Ketum/Sekjen SWI), dan Imam Suwandi, S.Sos.,M.I.Kom. (Kepala Bidang Diklat dan Litbang SWI).
Dr. Asep Setiawan, yang juga Kaprodi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, menekankan pentingnya peran wartawan sebagai profesi yang diakui secara hukum dan dilindungi undang-undang.

“Wartawan adalah individu yang secara teratur menjalankan kegiatan jurnalistik; profesi mulia yang memiliki peran vital dalam kontrol sosial,” tegasnya, membantah anggapan bahwa wartawan hanyalah “nyamuk pengganggu”.
Ia menambahkan, pengalamannya dalam acara World Press Freedom semakin mengukuhkan pentingnya peran wartawan dalam mengawasi jalannya pemerintahan.
Senada dengan itu, Ir. Herry Budiman menyampaikan komitmen SWI untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas program pengembangan jurnalistik.

“SWI Learning Center akan menyelenggarakan webinar dua kali sebulan, mengangkat tema-tema beragam dari berbagai bidang di SWI. Ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi internal dan memperkaya pengetahuan anggota,” ujarnya.
