Ogan Komering Ilir, Radar Keadilan –Di bawah kepemimpinan Bupati Muchendi Mahzareki, Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam melayani masyarakat dengan meluncurkan Program Santunan Kematian.
Inisiatif yang digerakkan oleh Dinas Sosial ini akan mulai beroperasi pada September 2025, memberikan angin segar bagi keluarga kurang mampu yang sedang berduka.
Kepala Dinas Sosial Kabupaten OKI, Dwi Muzawal Zulkarnain, SH., M.Si dalam keterangannya pada Senin (1/9/2025), menegaskan bahwa program ini adalah manifestasi kepedulian pemerintah daerah terhadap warganya.

“Santunan kematian ini adalah bentuk nyata perhatian dan empati kami kepada keluarga yang ditinggalkan. Dengan memberikan santunan sebesar Rp 1.000.000, kami berharap dapat meringankan beban yang tengah mereka hadapi,” ujarnya.
Untuk mengakses bantuan ini, warga perlu mengajukan permohonan dengan melampirkan beberapa dokumen penting.
Persyaratan tersebut meliputi surat keterangan tidak mampu dari lurah atau kepala desa, surat keterangan kematian dari Disdukcapil, serta salinan Kartu Keluarga (KK) dan KTP almarhum/almarhumah.
Penting untuk dicatat, pengajuan santunan harus dilakukan dalam kurun waktu maksimal tujuh hari setelah kejadian.
Program ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai bentuk dukungan finansial, tetapi juga sebagai upaya untuk mempercepat proses administrasi kependudukan di Dinas Sosial dan Disdukcapil Kabupaten OKI.
Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan proses administrasi dapat berjalan lebih efisien dan terintegrasi. (Red)
