Musi Banyuasin, Radar Keadilan –Petugas Kepolisian Sektor (Polsek) Sekayu, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, berhasil meringkus BT (54), seorang warga Dusun IV, Kelurahan Muara Teladan, Kecamatan Sekayu, Jumat (27/6/2025) dini hari pukul 04.00 WIB.
Penangkapan ini merupakan hasil pengembangan informasi dari masyarakat terkait kepemilikan senjata api ilegal.
Penggerebekan di pondok milik tersangka membuahkan hasil signifikan dengan ditemukannya dua pucuk senjata api rakitan laras panjang jenis kecepek beserta amunisi.
AKP Rama Yudha, S.H., Kapolsek Sekayu, menjelaskan bahwa penyelidikan dipimpin langsung oleh Kanit Reskrim, IPDA Oke Wijaya, S.H., berdasarkan informasi intelijen yang akurat.
“Kami bertindak cepat setelah menerima laporan dari warga,” tegas AKP Rama Yudha.
Barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan meliputi dua pucuk senjata api rakitan laras panjang jenis kecepek, sebuah tas sandang berwarna coklat, tujuh butir peluru lonjong, satu butir peluru bulat, satu botol plastik berisi KIP (Kartu Identitas Pribadi, diduga milik tersangka), sejumlah sabut kelapa, dan sebuah botol bekas bubuk mesiu.
Penemuan ini menguatkan dugaan keterlibatan tersangka dalam aktivitas ilegal terkait senjata api.
Tersangka BT dan seluruh barang bukti kini telah diamankan di Mapolsek Sekayu untuk menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Kasus ini menjadi bagian penting dari Operasi Senpi Musi 2025 yang bertujuan untuk memberantas peredaran senjata api ilegal dan menjaga keamanan serta ketertiban masyarakat di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin.
Kepolisian berkomitmen untuk menindak tegas segala bentuk pelanggaran hukum, termasuk kepemilikan senjata api tanpa izin. (Desi)
