MusiBanyuasin, Radar Keadilan –Kontingen PWI Kabupaten OKI berhasil meraih 8 medali dalam ajang Pekan Olahraga Wartawan Daerah se-Sumatera Selatan(Porwarda)keIV, yang diselenggarakan oleh tuan rumahPWI Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin pada 3 sampai dengan5 Desember 2024.
Dari15 Atlet yang dikirim dalam ajang bergengsi ini, Kontingen OKI berhasil menyabet 8 medali terdiri dari cabor E- Sport pertandingan fifa PS 4 Tunggal raih 1 perunggu, domino ganda 1 perunggu, Catur perorangan 1 perak 3 perunggu, Catur beregu 2 perunggu untuk kategori waktu cepat.

“Alhamdulillah kita bersyukur untuk pencapaian yang diraih, menjadi sejarah baru sepanjang kegiatan Porwarda yang kita ikuti ini kali pertama Kontingen PWIOKI mendapatkan medali terbanyak ditahun2024,” Kata KetuaPWI OKI Idham Syarief usai menerima penyematan medali juara ke 3 E-Sport Pertandingan Fifa PS 4.
Sementara itu Sekretaris PWI OKI Maniso yang juga berhasil menyabet medali perunggu dalam Cabor Domino Ganda menambahkan, keberhasilan Kontingen PWI OKI adalah buah dari kegigihan para atlet dalam mengikuti pertandingan di Porwarda IV Muba 2024.
“Terimakasih atas semangat dan kegigihan teman-teman, Prestasi ini tak hanya menjadi kebanggaan para atlet terlebih lagiakan menambah nilai plus bagi nama baik PWI OKI. tetap semangat dan kita pacu untuk lebih baik lagi kedepannya,” Ujar Maniso.
